I joined Ben at RTL in 2009. I’ve had 4 children in 4 years (no twins). I love that we have built a supportive culture as we all know a company is nothing without good staff.

I have been in plumbing since 1999 – almost 23 years. I’m a legendary baseball player from the south side. I love the team around me at RTL and the culture they bring.

I have been doing admin work for 2 yrs and in Scheduling approximately 6 months. I am the middle of children but only fully related to two of them. I love the family environment of RTL and that no matter what the job is, people are willing to step up and help out whenever needed.

I have been in Scheduling and Rostering for 7yrs and with RTL 3yrs. I was an international cheerleader but am now a Mum to a sassy 7yr old beautiful girl. With RTL you have the opportunity to grow and are supported daily in your work.

I completed Grade 12 in 1993 and started my electrical Apprenticeship in 1994, so 28 years. I can make my tongue fold into three (kind of like a 3 leaf clover). I love the family atmosphere of RTL’s work environment.

I’ve been in my profession for 16 years with 8 years in Scheduling. I only left Scotland to travel for a year and I’m still here 9 years later and happily settled. I love that no two days at RTL are ever the same.

I commenced my plumbing apprenticeship in 1993 and moved to Brisbane in 2002 to work on several large commercial plumbing jobs. Being a family run business, RTL’s culture and environment is very supportive and they value all employees equally.

I’ve been in the workforce for 43 years (yikes), 15 of those being in the Accounts arena & 8 years with RTL. I jumped out of a plane when I was 40 & got my first tattoo at 50. RTL is a ‘family feel’ company that genuinely cares about the wellbeing of all staff members.

I am a qualified plumber by trade with 15 year’s experience. RTL has a great culture from the office team to tradesmen and Apprentices! There is a genuine one-in-all-in feel and vibe with someone always having your back when it’s needed.

I have been a tradesman for over 30 years. I have a vinyl record collection that exceeds 5,000 records. A great bunch of people at RTL makes it easy and enjoyable to work here. I love the strong family values and professionalism with all site and office staff.

I have been in my profession for 19 years. I believe I have the best lawn in the street & spend several hours a week maintaining it. I enjoy the culture at RTL and everyone feels like part of the family. There is huge support & friendliness in the office which makes you feel valued.

I’ve been in administration roles for 10 years. I love the family atmosphere at RTL, after working for corporate companies, being considered more than a number is the best.

I’ve been a plumber since 2014 with 6.5 years at RTL. RTL has a healthy culture, from the tradies to the office staff who back each other – this place has a real magic about it. I moved to Brisbane alone in 2013 – RTL took me in, I felt welcomed from Day 1 and it now feels like home.

I’ve been plumbing for 9yrs with RTL the entire time. I have a life-long fear of magpies after being pecked at 5 and remember it like it was yesterday – a scar on top of my head remains as a reminder. I enjoy the family feel to RTL. We laugh together and help each other out without hesitation.

I’ve been a Carpenter for 14 years. My Manager loved my haircut so much, he copied it! I love the culture and team/family-oriented attitude everyone has in the RTL Trades Carpentry team.

I have been working with pipes, mostly trenchless repair, for 8-9 years now. When I was born, Doctors told my parents I would grow to be about 5’3″ tall and about 65kgs, not a 6′ tall woodchopper who was once ranked in the top 10 strongest people in Australia.

I’ve been working in the glorious trade of plumbing for over 5 years now. I have a bordering unhealthy habit of checking the BOM weather report. At RTL, I’ve enjoyed meeting people from all walks of like & all the interesting conversations that come with that.

I have been a qualified Plumber for 5 years now, most of that time with RTL (with a little break in between). I love the environment of the workplace here at RTL and enjoy the people I work with.

I’ve been in the Brisbane roofing industry for approximately 10 years. I love the fact that all the trades at RTL really look after each other, if someone has a question there is always someone to call and you are not left hanging.

I’ve been plumbing for 3 years now. There’s nothing I enjoy more than throwing on a pair of speedos and having a beer by the water with family and friends. I enjoy working with RTL because I feel like I can approach anyone for a conversation, and I’m proud to call my colleagues my mates.

I have been a Carpenter since 2009. My colleague Rhys Luke and I, are Div 4 Mixed Netball Semi-Finalists, and reigning Over 35 Div 6 Capalaba Plate Soccer Champions – achieved without winning a single game! I love RTL’s culture & how we dig in for each other and our community.

This is my 6th year working in the plumbing industry. What I really enjoy about working at RTL is the collective support you have as a technician in the field. Whether my enquiry is with the office staff, management or with a fellow technician, everyone makes time to assist me.

I have been in the electrical trade for 7 years. I broke my collar bone attempting a bicycle kick at a football game (soccer). I enjoy that everyone gets along and it’s always a good fun environment at RTL. If I ever have questions there’s always an answer.

I’ve been working as a Drainer and Pipe Reliner for 11.5 years. At RTL there is a positive energy in the office and out in the field. I always look forward to coming into work with a good bunch of guys and there’s never a dull moment.

I love the variety that comes with working in Maintenance and Fitouts / Construction at RTL and also love the fact that RTL really get behind me and have been extremely supportive of my rugby career.

I have been in the plumbing trade for 6 years. If I won the lottery, I would still be plumbing at least twice a week. What I love about RTL is our owners put on activities throughout the year. I have never seen a company who has looked after their employees as well and am happy to be here.
