Pre-Purchase Electrical Inspections
Pre-purchase Electrical Inspections are conducted by a qualified and experienced RTL Trades Electrician. The main objective of a pre-purchase electrical inspection is to provide you with detailed information on the condition of all electrical services.
Why is a pre-purchase Electrical Inspection important?
Pre-purchase Electrical Inspections are conducted by a qualified and experienced RTL Trades Electrician. The main objective of a pre purchase electrical inspection is to provide you with detailed information on the condition of all electrical services. This could be in a residential home, or commercial premises you might be looking to purchase, or even lease.
A standard Building and Pest Inspection does not cover Electrical Inspections. The Electrical Inspection provides peace of mind and enables the potential home buyer to have a better understanding of the electrical condition of the property and any immediate or future costs to rectify any issues.
What is involved in the pre-purchase Electrical Inspection?
The pre-purchase inspection report and further works
Once the electrical system inspection is carried out, we quickly and promptly provide you with a comprehensive and detailed report on the inspection that is easy to understand.
The inspection report will include recommendations for any rectification of electrical problems, hazards and required upgrades to ensure safety and electrical integrity of homes. If required, we will provide written quotes on any recommended upgrade or urgent safety upgrades.
“The Electrical Safety Office of Queensland is encouraging pre-purchase electrical inspections to assist buyers to identify if a property is safe and complies with all electrical legislation. We are promoting these inspections to assist buyers in avoiding costly and unsafe issues, to act as a deterrent to dangerous and illegal DIY work, and to encourage home owners to commit to better maintenance practices.” - Electrical Safety Office (ESO) Queensland.
